1.5 Safe to install
A unique twist has been introduced to the world of word drop puzzles with the addition of Braille letters. The presence of Braille in various settings has sparked curiosity in many individuals, leading to the creation of a Braille version within the Word Drop Series. This version serves not only as a game but also as an educational opportunity, allowing players to familiarize themselves with Braille markings in an engaging manner. It is a valuable learning aid where recognizing individual Braille symbols becomes an enjoyable challenge.
Players are tasked with forming words by moving their finger across the Braille letters within a set time limit. A visual representation of time progression is displayed through a color-changing time bar located at the top of the interface, transitioning from green to red as time elapses. The game provides an extensive dictionary comprising over 60,000 words, ensuring a diverse and enriching gameplay experience.
As players interact with the Braille letters, an auditory element is integrated into the gameplay. Each touch on a Braille letter prompts a voice to articulate that specific letter, enhancing the immersive experience. Furthermore, the game offers audio feedback by pronouncing the last letter of the word being constructed if players decide to backtrack on their selection. Upon successfully forming a valid word and lifting their finger, players are rewarded with an auditory playback of the word itself.
A feature known as the "ghost button" is available during gameplay, briefly revealing the corresponding Roman letters overlaid on top of the Braille characters, providing additional assistance if needed.
At the conclusion of each session, players are presented with statistics including their largest word created, game score, and highest score achieved throughout gameplay, offering a sense of accomplishment and progress tracking.
The game also acknowledges and appreciates freesfx.co.uk for providing audio sound effects utilized within the application.
